Enthusiasm without knowledge is no good; haste makes mistakes
Proberbs 19:2
Lord, you give your people joy. Lord we ask for enthusiasm not only for the things that we naturally enjoy, but also for things that are not particularly fun. May we be full of the right kind of enthusiasm; the kind that is under control and productive. Fill us with your spirit which produces both joy and self control.
